These documents relate to Christmas 1945 and are from the Royal Air Force Transport Command Signals Unit based in Belize, British Honduras.
The Christmas Card contains a personal message and though sent from Belize the content relates to No. 45 Group RAF who were based in Dorval, Quebec, Canada.
The Dinner Menu contains a photograph, presumably of the chef, and on the reverse are a number of signatures from members of the Royal Air Force who attended the dinner, including then sender of the Christmas Card.
Both items are in an overall good condition with some marking and discolouration, and the string tassel to the Christmas Card is fraying.
