Antique milliners hat stretcher The whole piece on the stand measures 34cm tall. It measures 34cm front to back including the protruding winder. It is 17.5cm wide. It has a central main screw which pulls the two halves apart. The mechanism moves smoothly. It has a size guide to the base but this is a little rubbed.. There are a few marks/nicks to the wood which I have tried to show in the photos but otherwise is in lovely condition. Lovely for an interior/decorator's piece. I am not an expert but I believe the hat block itself is mahogany and the base is oak. All items that I sell are used unless specified to the contrary and will therefore have ware indicative of age and use.
