Original Cold War Era Soviet PPS-43 Cleaning Rod and Front Sight Adjustment Tool. 

A two-piece assembly designed for the maintenance of the Soviet PPS-43 submachine gun.

It serves two primary functions:

Cleaning Rod: The two sections screw together at the threaded ends to form a full-length rod for cleaning the 7.62mm barrel bore.

One end features a slotted "eye" or jag for holding cleaning patches.

Front Sight Tool: The T-shaped handle section features a specialised notched end used to adjust the front sight post for elevation.

It can also be used as a general disassembly tool for the weapon.
