Well worn example of a .45/577 calibre with the stock having Enfield stampings and brass disc with ‘R.I.C 8067’. 21 inch barrel.
Metalwork with surface rusting, wear to the woodwork etc.
Comes with a EU certificate of deactivation.
The Martini Henry was introduced to the Royal Irish Constabulary around June 1899, with the final batch being issued to the Belfast police in June 1900. It replaced the Snider carbine, of which 12,000 were recalled. The Martini Henry saw only a limited period of service with the Royal Irish Constabulary, being replaced by the Lee-Enfield carbine from 1904.
