Inert British L54A1 81mm Illuminating Mortar Round

This is a British L54A1 illuminating mortar for the L16 British mortar.

This mortar replaced the standard British 3 inch mortar in 1965 and is in current use today.

This mortar retains much of its original white finished body and the grey anodised finish tail unit.

The mortar is stenciled in white round its circumference 81mm M ILUM L54A1.

This example is in a good condition with minor wear.
