Inert Russian 23 x 115mm BZ (БЗ), BZ119, Armour-Piercing-Projectile

This is the Russian 23 x 115mm BZ (БЗ) or BZ119, Armour-Piercing-Projectile used in the NS-23 and NR-23 aircraft cannon. 

The Nudelman-Suranov aircraft cannon NS-23 weighed 37kg, fired 550 rds/min and was introduced in 1945 to replace the VYa cannon.

The Nudelman-Richter NR-23 weighed 39kg, fired an improved 850 rds/min, was gas-operated and became available in 1949.

This round is in an overall good condition with numbers stencilled to the projectile and marks to the casing head.
