Inert WW1 1916 British No.23 MK 1 Mills Rifle Grenade.

The "Mills Bomb" No.23 was a rifle grenade adaptation of its predecessor the No.5 hand grenade.

 This grenade was manufactured in December 1916 by Howard & Bullough Ltd.

It is in overall good condition with minor age related wear but is missing the lever and pin.
