Art Nouveau Doulton Lambeth stoneware lidded Pot Pourri Floral decoration against a mottled blue background. To the base is the impressed Royal Doulton mark Dates C.1900 It stands 8cm tall without the lid. Diameter at the top is 3.5cm Diameter at the base is 5cm The artist mark is JH which I believe is for Jane Hurst Jane Hurst is listed in Desmond Eyles’ book The Doulton Lambeth Wares as having worked at Doulton from 1889-1922. Impressed number to the base is 8556 No chips, cracks or crazing. All items that I sell are used unless specified to the contrary and will therefore have ware indicative of age and use.
