Original 19th (County of London) Battalion (St Pancras) Cap Badge

This is an original 19th (County of London) Battalion (St Pancras) cap badge, worn by the British Army's volunteer unit between 1908 and 1936

Formed originally as a volunteer unit back in 1860, the 19th Battalion went on to serve valiantly during World War I, fighting on the Western Front, capturing Jerusalem, and crossing the River Jordan.

By 1935, the unit transitioned into an anti-aircraft and searchlight role.
