This is an original British Army cap badge belonging to the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry.

The Fife and Forfar Yeomanry was an armoured yeomanry regiment originally formed as a volunteer cavalry unit in 1793.

The regiment saw active service across major conflicts, including the Second Boer War, World War I, and World War II.

Soldiers wore this striking white-metal emblem on their headwear as a symbol of identity and regional pride.

The unit survived as an independent entity until November 1956, when it merged with the Scottish Horse to create the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry/Scottish Horse.

Today, its proud lineages and traditions continue to be maintained by "C" Squadron of the Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry

This badge is in a very good condition.

Metal with slider to the rear.
