Original German Weimar Republic 1928 Model Reichspost (Postal Service) Collar Tab

 An authentic 1928 Model single collar tab issued for the Deutsche Reichspost during the Weimar Republic period.

This specific insignia configuration denotes the rank of Oberpostschaffner (Senior Postal Clerk / Mail Carrier).

Features three beautifully multi-faceted, fire-gilded stamped metal rank stars (pips) alongside the iconic early Republican eagle clutching a post horn emblem.

Crafted on a pitch-black velvet wool cloth backing typical of the service branch. 

This item shows gorgeous, uncleaned character.

The fabric displays light, natural handling wear without significant balding or moth damage.

The brass hardware on both sides shows a rich, authentic age-patina.
