Original Pre WWII German First Pattern Hitler Youth Membership Badge (Hitlerjugend Mitgliedsabzeichen).

Introduced around 1929, this circular badge served as the official membership pin.

Following the introduction of the well-known diamond-shaped membership badge in 1933, this style was retained and worn as a Traditions Badge (Traditionsabzeichen).

The badge is in an overall good uncleaned condition with good detail to the front.

Reverse of the badge is marked with the RZM mark  and GES. GESCH (the period German equivalent of a patent or copyright trademark). 

Badge is also complete with its original combined pin and catch assembly intact to reverse. .
