Original WW2 1939 - 1945 Star Medal

 This is an original WW2 1939 - 1945 Star Medal in an excellent condition.

Generally awarded for 180 days of operational service in the Army/Navy or 60 days for aircrew.

Time as a prisoner of war counted towards the total. 

Two clasps could be worn with this medal: the Battle of Britain (for aircrew in 1940) and Bomber Command (for aircrew who served 60+ days in an operational unit).
