Original WW2 British Army Pattern 1937 Bren Light Machine Gun (LMG) Webbing Sling – M.E.Co. 1944

An original British Army Pattern 1937 canvas webbing sling for use with the Bren Light Machine Gun (LMG). 

In a good used condition dated 1944 and stamped with the manufacturer " M.E.Co." (Mills Equipment Company).

Unlike the standard Lee Enfield rifle sling which was 46" in length, the Bren sling measured between 53½" and 58" and was attached via 2 quick release hooks.

This example is 53½".
