Original WW2 British Royal Air Force (RAF) Cap Badge

An authentic, original British Royal Air Force (RAF) Cap/Beret badge dating from the World War II era (pre-1952).

This insignia was standard issue for Airmen and Non-Commissioned Officers throughout the Second World War.

The piece features excellent crisp detailing on the front face, with a beautiful natural aged patina, particularly around the reverse brazing joints.

It is free of any maker's marks, which is correct and standard for wartime mass-production contracts issued by the Air Ministry.

The badge is intact, rigid, and ready for display in a militaria collection or attachment to a period-correct side cap, peaked cap, or beret.
