Original WWII British Army 1937 Pattern MT Driver's Webbing Pouch - Finnigans Ltd 1941

An authentic, original British military 1937 Pattern Webbing MT (Mechanical Transport) Driver's Ammunition Pouch in excellent, structurally sound condition.

This is a scarcer wartime production piece specifically manufactured for vehicle drivers, clearly stamped on the interior underside of the top flap: "FINNIGANS LTD 1941", featuring the matching British War Department Broad Arrow (↑) acceptance mark.

Finnigans Ltd., renowned for luxury leather travel goods, pivoted to high-quality canvas gear contracts during the war effort.

Designed specifically for comfort while seated in vehicles, it lacks the standard infantry C-hooks, featuring instead a flexible canvas loop tunnel across the rear to slide onto the belt, paired with a single 1-inch brass gate buckle tab at the top.

Secures via a heavy-duty canvas strap attaching to a brass press-stud / snap button on the front flap.

Very Good vintage condition.

Strong, durable canvas weave free of major rot, tears, or heavy fraying.

The original top brass gate buckle and front press-stud are fully intact, functional, and securely attached.
