Pewter Art Nouveau Inkwell/Stand. It dates to early 20th Century. The maker is Orivit Stamped to the base Organic styled design. It stands 4cm tall at the tallest point The base is measures 18cm by 13cm It has its original glass liner. There is a very small loss to the side which I have shown in the photos otherwise in good condition. Marked "Orivit" 2540
Orivit was founded in 1894 and in 1896 started marking items with "Orivit" Metal. Orivit was purchased by Wurttembergische MetallwarenFabrik in 1906. WMF marks were used from 1907 onwards
