Original Post WW2 War Office Controlled Units Formation Patches, in a good condition. 

Size approx 5cm x 4.5cm. 

War Office Controlled Units were British Army formations, schools, and training establishments (e.g., Mons Officer Cadet School, School of Artillery) directly managed by the War Office rather than regional commands.

Introduced in 1946, they wore a specific cloth formation sign, usually featuring a crowned lion on a red/blue shield.
