WW2 Sterling Silver Royal Army Reserve Lapel Badge - 1938 - Fully Hallmarked

This is an original British Royal Army Reserve silver lapel badge. 

Issued by the Home Office starting in 1938, these sterling silver badges served as official identification for those Officers and enlisted men serving in the "Army Reserve"

The reverse bearing Birmingham hallmarks for 1938 and maker's mark 'J.R.G.' which were the marks for J.R. Gaunt

Badge is in a good uncleaned condition and is approx 1" high.
