Rare Whitefriars Controlled Bubble Door Stop or Lamp Base. The colour is sea green The design number is 9096 if the item is a door stop and 9104 if it is a lamp base. The lamp base only features in the 1938 catalogue. The lamp base is stated be to be 5.5inches tall. The door stop features in the 1938 catalogue and stated to be 5.5inches tall. It again features in the 1954 catalogue stated to be 6.5inches tall and shows that it is hollow - which I believe is what we have here but please make your own mind up.
