Rare Doulton Carrara Polar Bear. It stands 17cm tall. The base measures 14.5cm by 11cm Designed by Leslie Harradine Believe this dates circa 1910 No chips or cracks. There is crazing as shown in the photos. Made to promote the quality of carrara clay which is a very fine stoneware clay. Made to be given to customers of the firm as goodwill gestures or shop display pieces to promote the quality of the clay used. All items that I sell are used unless specified to the contrary and will therefore have ware indicative of age and use.
