Pewter Victorian 1 Pint Measure Jug It stands 12.5 cm tall (4 ¾ inches) The diameter is 9cm (3 ½ inches) It has PINT stamped to the rim There is also a VR, cypher and number as shown in the photos. The number refers to the City of London. The maker G Farmiloe & Sons, London There is another mark which is Crown with a crossed circle beneath and V R either side of the circle and 2 beneath. This appears to be for the Times Tavern on the north east corner of Grosvenor Road and Basinghall Lane and could date back to 1864. In good condition All items that I sell are used unless specified to the contrary and will therefore have ware indicative of age and use.
