This is a vintage cap badge for The Regina Rifle Regiment, dating from the 1952–1982 issue period.

This specific variant features the St. Edward’s (Queen’s) Crown ensigned at the top, issued after the accession of Queen Elizabeth II and prior to the regiment receiving its "Royal" designation in 1982.

The foundational design is a traditional rifle regiment Maltese Cross, intricately emblazoned with the unit's historic Battle Honours from both the First and Second World Wars (including Vimy 1917, Passchendaele, Normandy Landing, and Falaise).

The central shield showcases the iconic Saskatchewan bison standing over a wheat sheaf.

The reverse features a long, flat slider fitting.

It is cleanly die-stamped with the crisp sans-serif manufacturer mark: "J.R. GAUNT B'HAM"

This badge is in a very good condition and is finished in the traditional regimental blackened coating, which was historically utilised by rifle units for tactical field camouflage.

The photographs are of the actual item and form part of the description.
