An authentic, original West German Army (Bundeswehr) ground forces side cap (Schiffchen), dating from the mid-to-late Cold War era.
This standard-issue piece is constructed from the highly durable, heavy-weight olive drab cotton moleskin fabric characteristic of vintage German field uniforms.
Good vintage military surplus condition.
The fabric shows a natural, authentic wash-fade and mild service wear typical of an issued piece, but remains structurally sound with clean stitching, intact grommets, and no major damage.
