Vintage Soviet Maxim M1910 Machine Gun Oil & Water Can Field Set

A vintage Soviet Maxim PM M1910 heavy machine gun accessories kit.

This is a highly sought-after, interlocking "puzzle-piece" fluids transport set, designed to slide completely flush into its dedicated field transit box.

Unlike many kits that have been split up over the decades, this set contains all four matching components in original, uncleaned surplus condition.

It is a perfect addition for any Soviet WWII/Cold War collector or to display alongside a deactivated Maxim machine gun setup.

What’s Included in the Set:

Soviet Star Transit Chest: Heavy-duty, olive-drab steel outer box embossed with the classic Soviet five-pointed star.

Features its original heavy leather carrying handle and sturdy toggle latches.

Galvanised Water/Fluid Canister: The large, tall rectangular field tin used to transport water to replenish the Maxim’s water-cooling jacket during heavy firing.

Upright Lubricant Oiler Flask: Features the characteristic top spout and original tethered retaining chain.

Curved Gunner's "Kidney" Flask: Elongated, contoured oil canister designed to fit perfectly flush into the transit box layout or inside field kit webbing.

The set is in great vintage surplus condition with a beautiful, authentic battlefield patina.

The outer chest shows minor surface wear, superficial rust spots, and scuffs consistent with age and military storage, but remains structurally rock-solid.

The interior is clean, and all canisters slide perfectly flush together.

The original caps and delicate tethering chains remain fully intact.

The items are uncleaned to preserve their historical integrity—there may be remnants of old storage grease/cosmoline.
