The Canon d'Infanterie de 37 modèle 1916 TRP was a French infantry support gun designed to provide direct fire support during World War I. Commonly known as the 37mm M1916, it was valued for its mobility and accuracy, though it was eventually superseded by mortars for trench warfare.
