WW1/WW2 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders OR's Glengarry/Cap Badge - Post 1908 - Voided

An original WW1/WW2 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Other Ranks Cap Badge.

Worn in either the traditional Glengarry or the Balmoral Bonnet.

The badge features the classic voided centre introduced after 1908.

It displays the central interlaced and reversed "L" cypher of Princess Louise, surmounted by a ducal coronet.

The cypher is flanked by the traditional boar’s head (Clan Campbell) on the left and the cat-a-mountain (Clan Sutherland) on the right, all beautifully enclosed within a crisp wreath of Scottish thistles and the regimental title circlet.

This badge is in a very good condition. 

White metal with lugs and pin to the rear.
