An excellent example of an original World War II British Army Pattern 1937 Webbing Binocular Case (2nd Model).
This versatile variant features both the rear belt attachment hardware and the twin side buckles, allowing it to be integrated into a full web infantry harness or worn independently on an officer's shoulder sling.
Manufactured by the legendary Mills Equipment Company (M.E. Co.) and dated 1941.
In a good used condition.
The canvas fabric is in robust, sturdy condition with minor authentic service wear, light staining, and aging as to be expected from genuine battlefield gear.
The stitching remains tight and unbroken, and the fabric has not been stiffened or Blancoed heavily.
Complete with its original yellow-green felt protective lens pad intact at the bottom.
The photographs are of the actual item and form part of the description.
