WW2 Canadian Forces General Service Cap Badge – Lugs & Pin Variant

An authentic, period-original Canadian military General Service cap badge (often referred as the "General List" badge).

This pattern was widely issued to personnel serving in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) and the Canadian Army who were unassigned to a specific regiment, undergoing initial trade or combat training, or serving in newly formed units awaiting their own authorised insignia.

The insignia features a beautifully detailed, multi-pointed Canadian Maple Leaf base.

Centered on the leaf is the Tudor Crown (King's Crown), signifying service under King George VI (WWII).

A crisp, curved scroll spans the center of the leaf boldly reading "CANADA" in raised block lettering.

This badge is in a very good condition with crisp, sharp detailing remaining on the crown jewels and the veins of the maple leaf.
