WW2 German Luftwaffe Pilots/Aircrew Leather Gauntlets

 WW2 German Luftwaffe Pilots/Aircrew Leather Gauntlets.

Good example of the type of gauntlets worn by pilots and aircrew of the Luftwaffe during the 2nd World War. 

In a grey leather and fleece-lined for warmth with adjustable straps and press stud fastening at the wrist.  

There are some markings to the inside of the gloves in red stitch which are hard to make out but probably the makers name and a date or size.

 This style of glove was particularly favored by fighter pilots.
