 WWI 1st Pattern Manchester Regiment OR's Cap Badge.

The Manchester Regiment was a prominent line infantry regiment of the British Army that existed from 1881 until 1958.

They earned a fierce reputation across nearly eight decades of service, spanning the British Empire to both World Wars. 

This 1st pattern badge was worn by Other Ranks (OR's) until 1923 when it was discontinued and replaced by a strikingly simple fleur-de-lys design.

This badge is in a very good used condition. 

Bi-metal with slider to the rear.
