WW I Trench Art Button Hook

Authentic World War I British Trench Art Button Hook.

 Here we have a wonderful, highly detailed piece of genuine Great War militaria.

This pocket-sized button hook was intricately handmade by a soldier or artisan during WWI using recycled battlefield materials.

A standard tool of the era used for fastening tight uniform buttons, boots, or gaiters.

Constructed from a genuine brass rifle cartridge with a standard British Army General Service button soldered seamlessly onto the primer end.

The front is adorned with a striking brass rampant lion badge/button applied to the body of the casing.

In an excellent condition, lightly polished but still retaining some aged patina. 

The details on both buttons remain sharp and highly visible and there are no major dents or damage.
