WWII 27th Canadian Armoured Regiment (Sherbrooke Fusiliers) Cap Badge

An authentic, original Second World War cap badge to the 27th Canadian Armoured Regiment (The Sherbrooke Fusiliers). 

Formed as an infantry unit in 1940 before converting to armour in 1942, this regiment famously landed on Juno Beach on D-Day (6th June 1944) as part of the 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade, fighting through Northwest Europe to Germany.

This badge is in an overall very good condition.

Bi-metal with lugs to the rear.
