 An original WWII German Luftwaffe Air Signals (Luftnachrichtentruppe) Trade Specialty Patch.

Specifically, this design was worn by a Qualified Telephone Operator (Geprüfter Fernsprecher).

The machine-embroidered, overlapping zig-zag arrows in grey/silver rayon thread represent communication signals and lightning bolts.

The badge was typically sewn onto the lower left sleeve of the uniform tunic or flight blouse.

Measuring approx 55mm across.

Slightly threadbare but generally in a good used condition.
