This specific variant represents a classic late-war economy issue or front-line combat tunic configuration as it is devoid of any perimeter cord or piping. 

Features a high-quality, deep black badge-grade wool/velvet blend showing minor nap wear consistent with age and field use.

A clean, raw edge entirely without piping, correct for simplified mid-to-late war manufacturing standards designed to eliminate reflective materials in the field.

Three identical square sunburst-pattern alloy pips with central studs.

The silver wash retains a bright finish with light natural patina visible under magnification.

The reverse is a traditional fold-over-board design.

The core features a stiff, unbleached tan woven buckram (Steifleinen) reinforcement matrix.
